Call for Speakers
In preparation for the 2012 International Association of Law Enforcement Planners 21st annual conference taking place at the Blake Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina from September 24th to September 28th, the Conference Planning Committee would be pleased to receive papers for selection at this important event. The conference will consist of a number of individual sessions each comprising approximately 1 hour and 15 minute (including 15 minutes for questions) presentations focusing on issues that provide information on achieving goals in a dynamic environment of funding constraints, changing law enforcement practices, and new technology and other themes as they relate to planning in a Law Enforcement Environment.
Submissions are now welcome and should take the following form:
- Please forward an abstract (up to 500 words) to
jcouchell@cmpd.org no later than
close of business on Wednesday, February 29, 2012.
- Although submissions from commercial companies are welcome, presentations should not include direct reference to such products unless used as an illustration point only.

Once all submissions have been received they will be forwarded to the IALEP board for consideration and you will be notified by the Conference Planning Committee.
